System integrators can RFID-enable other hardware devices such as printers, terminals and handheld devices with a DIP28 pin package. It is ideal for applications such as ticketing systems, access control, retail system, supply chain, logistics system and product authentication.
This RFID reader writer module, model 713001, operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz. It is compatible with ISO15693 transponders and other standard tags including I-CODE SLI and Tag-it HF-I. This RFID module offers a maximum read distance of up to 20 cm depending on the size of antenna. It also can read 32 UID with a read time of less than 24 ms per label. It offers RS232, UART, TTL and RS485 interfaces for data communication. It requires a 5 V DC power source with 80 mA in transmit mode and 70 mA in standby mode. The RFID reader has passed CE and FCC certifications.
