134.2kHz Long-Range Fixed RFID Reader with DSP

(www.GAORFID.com) recommends this innovative 134.2kHz long-range fixed RFID reader which is specifically designed for continuous operation in harsh and noisy environments such as slaughterhouses and scales or sorting gates. It is equipped with a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to significantly reduce interference from noise. The fixed reader features a patented Auto-Tuning Function (ATF) which runs upon power up, and on demand, to ensure easy set-up and an optimized read range even under varying conditions.

This low frequency, long-range, fixed RFID reader, model 212007, has an IP66 protection rating allowing for robust operation even in harsh environmental circumstances. Its Integrated Diagnosis Module (IDM) enables on-site diagnosis for noise problems without requiring additional instruments such as an oscilloscope or a system analyzer. The sophisticated RFID reader offers clock synchronization enabling applications where several readers or antennas are used in close proximity. In addition, this fixed RFID reader conforms to ISO 118784/5 standards and achieves a tested read range of up to 115cm for FDX-B transponders and 130cm for HDX transponders.
