The 5 Strategies offer hope and practical insights for people over 40 who are âbetween jobs, underemployed or hanging on to their jobs by their fingernails,â says Price. The book focuses on whatâs really happening to people over 40 in todayâs workplace. Itâs not just the economy thatâs making life a challenge for people over 40. Ageism in layoffs and hiring decisions is also creating significant problems for people over 40. Getting rehired today is in part about defying ageist stereotypes and understanding how to do so.
