Los Angeles, CA (PressExposure) April 25, 2008 -- For the second straight game, the Mavericks could not solve the 66ers pitching, getting shutout 6-0 Sunday afternoon in San Bernardino. The Mavericks are now scoreless over their last 24 consecutive innings. The Mavericks were able to avoid falling into the 8th spot by virtue of their win in the season-finale against the Hornets, effectively dodging the bullet of having to deal with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in the first round. Instead Dallas will be taking on the second-seeded New Orleans Hornets, a much better match up for the Mavericks in my opinion.
The Dallas Mavericks home is so pleased to announce a new fan site for all those who love Mavericks and have a special love for this team. So you can hear Mavericks News, and you can give your say at Mavericks blog that really need your support.
Once again, it's that time of the year when 16 of the 30 NBA teams are geared up for the postseason. Unfortunately for the teams that didn't make the playoffs; they will be forced to watch the playoffs from their homes. Also, the teams that failed to reach the postseason will most likely make some sort of off-season change(s) to try and improve their team for next season. For some teams, the ingredient to success could only be one player or coach away. While the others will have another disappointing season waiting for them next year.
