Titchwell, United Kingdom (PressExposure) January 30, 2015 -- Whether you love the colour pink, are indifferent to it or simply don't like it at all, pink is here to stay. In 19th Century England, it was a colour that young men wore with pride, it was then adopted by little girls in the early part of the 20th Century and is now seen as a regular favourite on the catwalks. Love it or hate it, it's a colour that always gets noticed.
The Pink Firm was launched by Sarah Hollier and Annie Allison in the summer of 2013 with a small but select range of homeware and women's accessories working with classic colours but introducing the occasional twist, that embody understated elegance, femininity and timeless design.
"Pink can be very empowering if treated with the respect it deserves" says Annie Allison and there's a shade to suit everyone, whether you're a redhead, brunette or a blonde. From subtle hues that look beautiful when paired with black to hot pinks that can be equally as striking, like anything, they believe it is all about how it is put together. "If you know how to work it, you will be admired by many and may even inspire those who were previously less willing to try."
There is no doubt that there will always be a place for the classic palette but their belief is also not to shy away from the myriad of colours out there and in particular the diversity of the colour pink.
The Pink Firm has always been about style over fashion and having the confidence to make your own choice about what you wear and how you wear it. In short, everyone benefits from a bit of colour in their lives and life would be rather boring without it. With Winter nearly over and Spring on the horizon, those first green shoots are our first taste of the explosion of colour we have in store and we welcome it with open arms. A touch of brightness to break up the grey never goes unnoticed after all, far better to be seen than not to be seen at all.
