Perth, United Kingdom (PressExposure) November 29, 2009 -- Nowadays you can buy activity gift vouchers from a number of different sources, there are a multitude of companies lining up to take your money and send out your gift voucher (hoping to never hear from you again) even High street stores are cashing in on the market. But you try asking your high street store sales assistant what the activity is like and unless he/she has coincidently, happened to try the activity you'll be out of luck. The problem is there's no follow through. Sure they package it up nice and glossy, chuck it in a gift bag with some impractical accessory, stick an extra few quid on the market price and hey presto! Money in the Bank. The problem with this, is that if the sales assistant doesn't know what your buying, what are you actually buying? I spoke to some customers last year who had purchased a Sphereing voucher from just such a high street store, only to discover that they would have to travel over 400 miles round trip, to redeem it. These are the little gems of information which would be very useful at the point of purchase.
Specialist Gift voucher Companies are certainly much better at providing the correct product for their customers but at what cost? Whilst there are discounts given to these companies by the activity providers, that doesn't provide sufficient profit to finance the fancy websites and massive advertising campaigns needed to bring in the money. Which is why a fairly high profile activity gift voucher company went into receivership a few years ago. Unfortunately they had miscalculated the amount of vouchers that would be redeemed. Activity Companies have alway sold Activity Gift vouchers. When buying from an activity company you can ask as many questions as you like about the activity and they will be able to answer them straight away.
The only problem with buying vouchers from an activity company is that they are limited to the activities which that company provides. Or at least they where! Now Andy Cryer from Legend Sailing, has set up "Activity Gift Vouchers Scotland" Andy has been working with other activity companies in Central Scotland for over five years now! Providing high quality activity experiences for visitors to the area and customers from nearby Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh as well as further afield. With personal experience of all the activities offered by the company Andy is well in the know to answer any questions his customers have regarding any of the gift vouchers and activities on offer.
So if there are sighs of "Oh No! NOT ANOTHER ACTIVITY GIFT VOUCHER COMPANY!" They're usually followed by sighs of relief as they realise that "Activity gift vouchers Scotland" truly is "NOT ANOTHER ACTIVITY GIFT VOUCHER COMPANY!"
