Bangkok, Thailand (PressExposure) March 24, 2009 -- Agoda.com, an online travel company specializing in discounted hotel bookings in Asia, today announced a partnership with IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group PLC), the worldâs largest hotel group by number of rooms. The partnership allows distribution of all of IHGâs seven brands worldwide via Agoda's websites.
The seven brands of IHG include InterContinentalÂ® Hotels & Resorts, Hotel IndigoÂ®, Crowne PlazaÂ® Hotels & Resorts, Holiday InnÂ® Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn ExpressÂ®, Staybridge SuitesÂ® and Candlewood SuitesÂ®. IHG represents over 4,150 properties with nearly 620,000 guest rooms. IHG is expecting rapid expansion in the Asia Pacific region and is looking to Agoda to help drive the process. Agoda.com is considered a specialist in the Asian marketplace and although the partnership includes access to IHGâs properties worldwide, Agoda is expected to focus initially on the Asia Pacific region in popular destinations like Beijing, Tokyo, and Mumbai.
