Hawthorne, NJ (PressExposure) October 07, 2010 -- Akadema recently announced the signing of Texas Tech University Softball to a two-year exclusive glove contract. In his first season at Texas Tech, Head Coach Shanon Hays led his team to a 38-18 season and a number 17 ranking in the NCAA polls last season after advancing to the NCAA tournament.
The Texas Tech Red Raider softball team of Lubbock, Texas returns eight starters this season. Returning players include 3B Emily Bledsoe, 2B Logan Hall, and CF Mikey Kenney. Additionally, Big XII All-Tournament team member Holley Grentsch returned to the team. The 2010 fall season is underway for the Red Raiders, with a 2-0 record already under their belt.
