Newcastle, Australia (PressExposure) March 05, 2009 -- Capital Homes, a local Maitland based building company has joined with Maja Group, a Queensland based corporate property and business services company for the purposes of becoming a national specialist provider of affordable and innovative housing for government assisted residents throughout Australia.
Maja Group, winner of previous awards in affordable housing has developed a system to provide turn-key accommodation to organisations within the public sectors requiring specific housing needs. Managing Director, Mark Roberts, said that Maja Group involved Capital Homes in the research for both the modular housing and asset delivery models and were impressed with the outcome resulting in the two companies joining forces.
"Despite the economic downturn, both companies are performing strongly and there has been over one million dollars spent in research and development on the business plan by Maja Group and significant work in getting Capital Homes positioned for the growth in system development, reporting and mitigating risks associated with rolling out nationally," Mr Roberts said.
Capital Homes will continue to deliver residential housing in the Hunter region, but Matt Southwell and Paul Chapman of Capital Homes said the unity will allow the company to expand nationally and continue to be involved not only in the research and execution of the business plan, but provide housing to a sector that requires support.
The newly formed unity of companies will be announcing shortly a new corporate identity to communicate its vision of working alongside government to create long-term holding assets, which are administered by not-for-profit organisations and provide accommodation to Government-assisted persons with disabilities or special needs.
