O’fallon, Missouri (PressExposure) September 16, 2010 -- The Ambit Energy Ambition event only comes around once a year and attracts thousands of Ambit consultants from around the country but mostly from the deregulated states of Texas, New York and Illinois that Ambit represents and is open for business within.

Ambition 2010 was full of awards for the consultants who earned top honors this past year. It also had a lot of good training and motivation type talk to help Ambit consultants “take it to the next level”, which was the theme for this year’s event. Not surprisingly Ambit rolled out some announcements that should help their consultants take it to the next level also.

New territories announced for expansion include the Rochester Gas & Electric territory along with the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania. Maryland will open up Nov 1st and Pennsylvania is slated for the first quarter of 2011. With these new states Ambit Energy has significantly raised its potential market share.

Other announcements include special promotions only available for Ambition attendees, new tools through the powerzone back office available to Ambit consultants and the rollout of commercial energy within the Texas market. Previous to this rollout, Ambit had only been a residential provider in the state of Texas.

This year’s Ambition even was the biggest ever with over four thousand attendees who packed the largest convention space that the Hilton Anatole had to offer. Ambit yet again picked up the tab for lunch on the main day of the festivities which was Saturday. The event wrapped up with a black tied dinner for the Executive level consultants and then a dance party celebration for all consultants. There is no doubt that this was the biggest, baddest and most powerful Ambition to date.
