Noida, U.p India (PressExposure) June 09, 2011 -- Deltathree has selected and signed Ascent Telecom for their requirements related to SIP softphones and add-on callback applications for Symbian, IPhone and Blackberry mobile platforms.
Ascent Telecom, probably the only Indian company to have SIP softphones developed on all major Mobile and PC(Window) OS including Symbian, Win Mobile, IPhone, Android and Blackberry, today announced it has acquired a major contract from the leading VoIP Service provider, Deltathree Inc.(http://www.deltathree.com, http://www.iconnecthere.com).
With this move, Ascent Telecom will bring in its long expertise with SIP clients to provide private labelled products to Deltathree. These products will be integrated with the legacy server side infrastructure (SIP Server, OSS/BSS) of Deltathree and will be launched under their brand name. This will further expand Deltathree's reach and enable it to compete globally in markets driven by rapidly growing demand for better communication services.
Founded in 2000, Ascent Telecom is looking for a significant expansion of communication solution industry in India and abroad. Having worked with clients in over 30 countries, it has made greater inroads in Softphone vertical of MobileVoIP industry and will try to make sure its business interests are well synchronised with those of Deltathree. It has already worked with plenty of noteworthy names in the past such as Spicei2i (formerly Mediaring), Talkfree, GSoft Technologies, IP Telecom and others.
