Troy, MI (PressExposure) June 01, 2008 -- Dramatic Anti-Aging Results with Dermaplaning Technique Now Available at all Schenden's Spas Locations.
Schenden's Spas glycolic facial peels now incorporate dermaplaning performed by trained medical aestheticians. "Dermaplaning maximizes the effectiveness of our glycolic peels and allows our clients to achieve the best results possible in the least amount of time," says Rebecca Lynch, Aesthetician Manager. "The service stimulates elastin and collagen below the skin's surface and clients leave with a youthful glow and diminished fine lines and wrinkles."
Dermaplaning is a skin resurfacing procedure that scrapes away the top layer of dead epidermal cells and fine vellus hair, gently removing outer layers of dead cells. As a result, skin care products penetrate better and the underlying layer of smooth, clear, undamaged skin emerges. This procedure is most often used to smooth out small facial wrinkles that appear in the upper layers of the epidermis and underlying dermis. Clients will notice an immediate improvement in the surface texture of their skin.
"We can now choose to use the dermaplaning technique whenever appropriate," says Lynch. "Dr. Schenden arranged training at both his surgical office and the La-Roche Posay Academy. "Seeing the results and listening to how excited clients are," Lynch smiles, "is fantastic."
