New hire Tony Duea is a long-time ecommerce professional who comes from Crocs, where he led the global brand in their rollout of the Demandware platform to 14 countries, marking exponential growth for the company. Tony is one of the new Demandware Solution Architects at Astound Commerce, where his unique background in running all aspects of the ecommerce system development lifecycles position him to oversee the architecture, solution design and development and quality assurance of major retail sites. Tony has experience integrating numerous 3rd party software solutions, including secure payment processing and enterprise-level analytics. Tony was a speaker at the 2011 Demandware Xchange conference.
Katie Johnson comes to the Astound Commerce team from Timberland, where, for over 5 years she was a technical team lead and Demandware Solution Architect. While at Timberland, Katie also managed the brands dozen interactive micro-sites. As one of the new Demandware Solution Architects for Astound Commerce, Johnson brings a strong development background and passion for business solution design and implementation. She is responsible for the development, launch and support of over a dozen custom transactional websites, fluid in 3rd party tool integration for N2N platforms and has expertise in "design your own" custom product implementations. Johnson's strong technical leadership skills contributed to the overall improvement of Timberband's site performance and helped to meet numerous business objectives.
