Chennai, India (PressExposure) May 04, 2012 -- Atlantic Broadband formally launches its cable television operations in western Pennsylvania today, according to Vice President and General Manager David Dane. Dane commented, "Today brings our subscribers not only a new name but also a renewed customer commitment". Dane unveiled Atlantic's plan to upgrade its cable television systems in several communities in the Uniontown area to provide High Speed Internet services. He said the project, which is already underway in the Carmichaels area, will be complete by the end of the year.

Atlantic will offer three levels of Internet service to meet the varying needs of its customers, with its Starter HSI service priced as low as $21.95 per month. The Max HSI Service offers the fastest Internet connection available to the home, with a speed of up to 3.0 Mbps and priced as low as $46.95 per month. All subscribers to Atlantic's cable services will receive discounted rates on Atlantic Broadband High Speed Internet, regardless of which cable or Internet package they purchase.
This is first of a number of initiatives that will simplify packaging, enhance value and enable cable subscribers to create customized packages that meet both their needs and their pocketbooks, Dane said. He noted that Atlantic is responding to customer feedback seeking simpler programming choices at reasonable prices, and improved service and reliability.
