Sydney, Australia (PressExposure) April 08, 2009 -- AOT founder Paul Lange said the giveaway could cost AOT well over $10,000, but the expense would be

justified if it helped families rebuild their lives.

“To help students affected by the recent natural disasters get their lives back to normal, we have

decided to offer all our students who have lost their computers a free laptop,” said.

“We recognise that re-establishing routines after the recent devastating events will help our students

rebuild their lives.

“All of AOT’s course records are stored in databanks, so none of our student records have been lost.

All of our students will be able to continue their studies where they left off.”

Mr Lange said he realised that the computers would be used for purposes other than studying AOT’s

extensive range of professional online training courses.

“We expect that students and their families will appreciate the ability to reconnect with friends and

family around the world, whether they are in temporary accommodation in Victoria, or isolated by

floodwaters.”

All students registered with AOT in bushfire and flood-affected areas will be eligible for the

replacement free laptop.

AOT students affected by the natural disasters who do not yet wish to return to study can apply to

have an extension of their study for up to three months.
