Melbourne, Australia (PressExposure) December 07, 2012 -- The Australian Management Academy will from 2012 provide access to government funding. This has been done to promote learning in Australia by enabling students complete their desired project management courses without the need of struggling with loans or postponing their plans due to the lack of funds. The eligibility for government funding has been made manageable for practically anybody with a need to upgrade his or her skills or complete a certificate course online for the first time.
To be eligible for government funding, the primary requirement you must meet is citizenship. Funding is only made available to Australian citizens or individuals with a permanent visa or a special category visa. Students with a temporary protection visa are also eligible.
Further requirements are for a student to be under 20 years. However, if over the age of 20, the only eligible students are those taking a course at a higher level than their present qualification. The eligibility has provisions for students taking the Foundation Skills Course or an apprenticeship or a teenage or single parent. Additionally, to be eligible, a student must not have commenced or undertaking more than two government subsidized courses in 2012.
Eligibility has also been expanded and continues to create more room. Currently, Victorians of any age with a qualification of VCE/VCAL or higher will be able to get training at Certificate II and other higher levels.
As of 1st July 2012, every student eligible for the State Government funding will be required to pay tuition fees in accordance with the fees guidelines of 2012. The fee is calculated in accordance with the training hours in an academic year. The Australian Management Academy will further inform students of a fee change in advance.
The government funding option provides more convenience to students looking for higher education but limited by their financial reach. The option has enabled more and more students to complete their project management courses devoid of dropouts due to the lack of funds. Students will only pay a fraction of the cost thereby enabling them to remain within their financial boundaries. Basically, government funding has made online courses what they were designed to be; learning options for everybody. Students can take the course of their choice without worrying about cost.
