Ayurveda to fight economic meltdown blues in the US

Faridabad, India (PressExposure) January 05, 2009 -- Alaya Yoga Spa, a widely-respected community centre based in Louisville at the heart of America’s Ayurveda hub, Colorado, is turning to the expertise of Dr. Partap Chauhan to help fight the blues of the recent economic meltdown. It is organising a Stress-Free Night with Dr. Chauhan on December 3 at its Colorado centre.

According to Alaya, the Stress-Free Living programme has been planned keeping in mind the causes of stress that include irregular work schedules, frequent travel, the volatile economy and collapsing relationships. With its natural approach to health care, Ayurveda is the best answer to problems such as stress that leads to anxiety, insomnia, tension headaches, lower back pain, constipation and many other symptoms.

The experience includes a vegetarian meal, a 30-minute video lecture on stress-free living by Dr. Chauhan and an activity session in which participants will learn and practice some powerful stress-relieving techniques. The cynosure of the programme, however, is a live Skype discussion session with Dr. Chauhan in India in which the participants will get a chance to ask questions with regard to their individual problems stemming from stress.
