Portsmouth , NH (PressExposure) November 26, 2009 -- Treeno Software, a proven leader in enterprise content management (ECM), today announced that Bank of the West, San Francisco, has increased employee productivity and achieved operational efficiencies using the company's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
Implemented a year ago at the bank's Managed Services division in Oregon, Treeno's software is used to store and manage over 30,000 lease schedule documents. It also provides the bank's customers with secure remote access to their documents through Treeno's publishing portal.
"The Treeno software has had a direct effect on efficiency," said Eric Gross, vice president and director of Managed Services, Bank of the West. "Treeno helped us automate and streamline part of our scanning function, which enabled us to increase the percentage of documents being added to the Treeno system. As a result, we have been able to do more work with the same number of people and are saving about 40 hours per month to scan documents using the bar coding automation provided by Treeno."
According to Gross, Bank of the West selected Treeno over other solutions due to the product's flexibility and cost effectiveness, as well as the company's ability to meet the bank's tight timeline for implementation. In addition, there were positive references for Treeno both from divisions within the bank who were currently using the product and from other existing clients.
"Treeno's feature-rich software has always been an ideal, affordable solution for the small business market, but our target market is growing due to today's economic challenges," said Will Thibodeau, Co-CEO, Treeno Software. "Bank of the West is a high volume, high transaction deployment at the enterprise level and due to the product's many unique attributes, it also provides a viable solution for companies in this market."
Because Treeno Software uses the SaaS model, the cost and complexities of software have been dramatically reduced. Software no longer has to be installed on the user's computer, which makes licensing, maintenance and upgrades simple and cost effective.
