Lafayette, LA (PressExposure) May 08, 2009 -- Baystone Contractors has a new leadership team after Mr Ken Guilbeaux took the reigns temporarily as stand in CEO.
Mr. Guilbeaux has made an immediate impact by modernizing the company structure, adding a new office in New Orleans and bringing in a new team at the Lafayette, corporate office who are running the marketing and creating new products, services and programs for the company.
He has also been influential in setting up an Association to help small businesses within the maritime and Longshore & harbor industries to fight back after the big insurance companies bumped up the Maritime Employers Liability (MEL) and United States Long shore & Harbor (USL & H) by an average of 20%.
The core business remains in supplying blue collar contract Labor to the Maritime, Shipyard, offshore, rigs and vessels and fabrication and refinery industries. Plans are well underway to expand into other markets in the staffing industry.
With their new office in New Orleans and with a new team, Mr. Guilbeaux started a hospitality industry division which will be called Eazy Temps. The concept of the brand will be to provide quality staffing for events as well as hotels and restaurants and industrial canteens and offshore operations. Eazy temps will be operated with a unique video profiling concept allowing the end user clients can have a choice and see their prospective temporary staff online.
Mr Guilbeaux has energized the company and with the new business strategies in place further expansion throughout the Louisiana area is being planned.
Mr. Guilbeaux is well known throughout the Louisiana state for his famous student bar brand "the Keg" as well as several other successful restaurant and bar brands throughout the industry.
