Middlebury, Indiana (PressExposure) May 01, 2012 -- The awareness about self defense has also given rise to a large number of self defense training centers in Indiana. Taekwondo Training Indiana center run by Hoosier Taekwondo has been most popular amongst masses especially due to the quality training and expert trainers in the center. On an average, the center runs 10 batches per day for taekwondo training at different time slots. Each batch is taken by specialist taekwondo trainers.
Hoosier Taekwondo Master Iva E. Nicholas says "The quality of training really matters a lot when it comes to delivery. Parents of small kids aged 3 years approach us to give the self defense training to their kids for duration of 2-3 years in continuation. Many a times the students pursuing the training continue it for 7 years wherein they qualify as the taekwondo training masters. Considering the amount of crime increasing crime rates, we focus more on training to female candidates. The ratio of female trainees to male trainees in our institute is 60:40. "
He adds "In our training center we impart training to people of all age groups from 3 years to 40 years! Considering the health issues people above 40 years are not encouraged to enroll for the training. In extreme situations, wherein of people above 40 years wish to enroll for the training, a certificate by a certified medical practitioner followed by a complete health check up by or center appointed medical practitioners is required." It is worth noting that Nicholas is a practiced taekwondo expert and has been has been training taekwondo since last 20 years. He is also a 5th degree black belt.
Apart from taekwondo training the center also specializes in Martial Arts Indiana training. The training programme is especially designed for the natives of Indiana considering their demographics and other habits. This training has been in huge demand in many schools and colleges which promotes martial arts as extracurricular activities and encourage their students to participate at national level. In fact, many of the students of this school have also won state and national level Martial Arts competitions.
The school also promotes the concept of Martial Arts and Taekwondo amongst the weaker sections of the society by imparting free coaching to them. This is of course a way towards the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by the training center. The center believes in empowering every person especially females in the society with self defense techniques, which would help them to lead a safe life.
Apart from taekwondo, the institute also offers training in life skills. The training is named as Impact Training, which is the first of its kind to integrate high impact exercise, music, strobe lights and even some dance. The objective of Impact Classes is to promote an environment of fun and exercise, but it also gives life skills lessons to the participants, helping them to lead a positive life ahead.
A glimpse into the institute infrastructure gives a complete picture of the comfort zone created for students. The institute has located areas of comfort and thus has shaped it accordingly. There is a toddler zone for students who wish to leave their kids while they learn taekwondo, free wi - fi facility for those who want to access internet while waiting for their friends/relatives or siblings, vending machines for tea and coffee, special seating arrangements for parents and guests in lobby etc.
With the lavish infrastructure and well trained trainers, the institute is a dream for anyone wishing to learn taekwondo and martial arts.
