Brick, NJ (PressExposure) September 02, 2008 -- Created by mastermind Karen Justice, the Wild Jungle Chick card line is an expression of laughter, love, and the passion of life. Karen's designs have been featured in various hotels, specialty gift shops, resorts, and catalogs. The mission of Wild Jungle Chick is to use art to help people see the love, laughter, and happiness in daily living and to conquer adversity.
Prior to starting Wild Jungle Chick Inc, Karen Justice was a prominent accessory designer, founder, and creative director of Tigre Lis Enterprises, international women's fashion and accessory company. Karen's diverse background started in 1976 when she left her regular 9 to 5 job as an audit technician to pursue her true passion and start Tail Feathers Fashions LTD in Vancouver, Canada. The romantic, feminine, and flamboyant designs drew instant recognition from some of the world's top fashion magazines and television shows.
Approximately three years later, she expanded Tail Feathers to include an animal line of jewelry. The line attracted much attention, as her mission was to raise public awareness for protecting and preserving animals and the environment. In 1984, Karen used her animal designs as the base for a jewelry line named Tigre Lis.
The designs of Tigre Lis were an instant hit as they were sold to upscale retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, amongst a variety of other upscale department stores and boutiques. The company expanded and opened offices in Canada, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Paris. Tigre Lis has been featured in some of the world's top international fashion magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Women's Wear Daily, Women's World, and Seventeen Magazine. Her creations have also been featured on various television shows such as soap operas and talk shows.
Karen was also a motivational speaker. She authored "Barracuda in Bunny Slippers: A Survival Guide." In the book, she discusses how to effectively set goals, self- promotion in personal and professional lives, and how to create opportunities. Karen teaches her audience how to see the positive in everything, learn from failure, and how to get back up after being knocked down. She also teaches her readers how to deal with negativity and create irresistible attraction.
Karen is one of the most influential artists of her time as she raises public awareness on endangered species and environmentalism. Publicist Kristin Marquet "states Karen's designs are some of the most innovative, distinctive, and colorful motifs I've seen. Karen is a brilliant mastermind who brings laughter and happiness to her audience."
