Dubai, India (PressExposure) June 01, 2010 -- Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Hind Bint AbdulA-ziz Al Qassimi, Chairman of Emirates Business Women's Council. inaugurated the 2010 edition of Beautyworld Middle East today (1st June). Beautyworld Middle East is the largest international trade fair for beauty products, cosmetics and perfumery in the region and is taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 1 to 3, 2010.
Speaking to reporters after touring the exhibition, H.H Sheikha Hind commented: "I am impressed with this show and surprised at the high quality of the brands and products on display. I will revisit the show during the remaining days."
Sheikha Hind added that her visit to the show with her colleagues from Emirates Women's Business Council helped give them an overview of the latest products and services available. "Beautyworld ME exhibition will provide opportunities for UAE businesses to meet international visitors and forge partnerships."
Further, Sheikha Hind said: "I am delighted to welcome exhibitors and visitors to Beautyworld Middle East 2010 which is an important exhibi-tion for the cosmetics and toiletries industry in the UAE and wider MENA region. Event organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt is bringing to-gether key international manufacturers with regional industry profes-sionals to encourage strong business relations. Beautyworld Middle East is a great platform for the exchange of industry best practices and increased education amongst beauty professionals."
She added: "The beauty and cosmetics business in the UAE has been very strong particularly in recent years. We all like to look and feel good and so this industry continues to grow. I love to see the latest products and services available on the market and am delighted to support this exhibition which helps to bring the latest international products to the region through key distributors."
This year's edition features 734 exhibitors representing more than a 10% increase from last year. Some of the participants in this year's trade fair include Nazih Trading, Madi International, Joz Trading, House of Maria Dowling, Enigma, Alessandro and Momentum.
"We are pleased to present a wide variety of exhibitors representing all types of beauty products. Everything from organic and halal cos-metics from all over the world, to the latest trends in hair, skin and nail products and technology are featured at the event," said Mr Ahmed Pauwels, Chief Executive Officer of Epoc Messe Frankfurt GmbH, trade fair organiser.
"A major focus at this year's Beautyworld Middle East is on healthy, hygienic and safety best practices within salons. This is the subject of a seminar and demonstration by Dubai Municipality during the ex-hibition. The municipality puts big efforts into building awareness on the importance of salon hygiene and we hope our event helps contri-bute to this cause," Mr. Pauwels added.
Natural and organic personal care products are other key areas of interest at Beautyworld Middle East 2010, the region's definitive trade show for beauty and cosmetics.
One of the main attractions at the exhibition is the Walk of Beauty or-ganised by Madi International in association with The Hair Group and its subsidiary companies myhairdressers.com and Salon Educators. The make-up for the event is provided by Flawless You Forever. This annual event features international and regional hair stylists and beauty experts.
Another show feature is Nail It! by OPI which is a series of seminars and workshops culminating in a nail competition. Organised by Beautyworld Middle East in association with OPI, the nail competition sees participation from some of the best professionals in nail en-hancements, manicures and nail art.
This year Beautyworld Middle East also introduces a Fragrance Sta-tion where visitors can sample perfumes and then find the stand number for that perfume at the base of the bottle. Trade visitors to the exhibition that are interested in fragrances and toiletries will find a large and wide variety of brands - from Middle Eastern essences and perfumes to international designer brands.
Some leading companies dealing in perfumes and fragrances that are exhibiting at this year's event include Ajmal, Swiss Arabian, Arome Concept France, Sterling Perfumes, Euro Fragrance, Identiscents, Noorani, AMA Perfumes, Afnan and S.S. Global Fragrances, amongst many others.
