Detroit, MI (PressExposure) April 28, 2011 -- Here at Bite to Meet, we enjoy delicious meals and interesting conversations. Combining these two is our passion, and also the philosophy behind our startup. The idea for Bite to Meet stemmed from Keith Ferrazzi's bestseller "Never Eat Alone." Our team met at Startup Weekend Detroit and shared a passion for meeting interesting people, creating meaningful connections, and (of course) food!
We know how busy the life a professional can get yet we each believe that no matter how busy you are, eating alone at your desk or in a hotel room is a wasted opportunity. Sharing a meal with someone is the perfect opportunity to expand professional and social circles. That's why we aim to connect professionals over a meal, allowing them to expand their network while enjoying great food.

WHERE WE'RE GOING
We are taking a big step forward this week and launching a beta version of our application for early adopters to test drive. Since we are a lean organization, this beta version is very minimalistic. We're listening to what YOU want, so give us your feedback what features you would like us to incorporate into the next release.
Look out for a special blog post series. Each week, we will explore a new chapter of "Never Eat Alone." Grab a copy and read along as we discover secrets needed to develop and maintain an effective network. We will also be featuring weekly posts on key community networkers and their stories and secrets behind successful networking. These are real Bite to Meet early adopters who share their passions and experiences for us all to learn from.
Our goal is to help you become more successful, better connected and simply happier.
