Boracay Community Invites Visitors to Boracay International Funboard Cup

Boracay, Philippines (PressExposure) January 14, 2010 -- The community of Boracay encourages wakeboarding and kiteboarding enthusiasts to come and join the upcoming Boracay International Funboard Cup. The event is the largest windsurfing races in Asia and attracts over a hundred windsurfers and kiters to boracay year after year.

Boracay International Funboard Cup is held every January and February at Bulabog Boracay beach. Aside from the windsurfing race, the event also features the Boracay Big Air Challenge, an event which draws some of the best kiters in the region.

It is held in the waters off Bulabog Beach Boracay, where the strong winds make for excellent windsurfing conditions. After the fun of the windsurfing competitions, spectators can enjoy a range of entertainment from live music to beach parties.

Boracay is an island of the Philippines located approximately 315km (200 miles) south of Manila and 2km off the northwest tip of the island of Panay in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.
