Brad Pitt Changes Role To Handsome Looking Cop

Port Vila, Vanuatu (PressExposure) June 17, 2009 -- How much is the hard working, handsome hulk Brad Pitt, being paid to take up a new role in life? Russian officials erect life size cutouts of the film-star, dressed as a traffic cop, near the most accident prone intersections in the city of Omsk.

The authorities decided that if the Hollywood heartthrob, Brad Pitt, is able to stop traffic in America, there is absolutely no reason why he can’t do the same in Russia. Knowing the psyche of the average motorist, the authorities firmly believed the cardboard cut outs of the iconic star, would slow traffic down. They hoped this would lower the number of speeding accidents in certain areas. The southwest Siberian city of Omsk, the second largest city in Russia, beyond the Urals, holds the unfortunate record of being among the highest traffic accident areas in Europe.

"Accidents have fallen as star-struck drivers ease off the gas to gaze at the unusual image", report the city officials. Traffic has definitely decreased in speed, so drivers can catch a glimpse of the hunk.

Pitt has been quoted as being the man most other men want to look like. Surveying 20,000 plastic surgeons across the world, a recent survey found that men request the 44 year old actor's nose, lips, chin and backside, over any other star. Brad is claimed to be one of the world’s most attractive men – a 21st century Clarke Gable.

Pitt, however is not just a pretty face, he is a hard working star. He earned himself Oscars for his acting performances in Troy, (2004) and Mr & Mrs Smith (2005) and has had other nominations. Pitt however, owns a production company by the name of PlanB Entertainment, which created an Academy Award winning best picture, The Departed in 2007, a film produced by Pitt, who has had roles in a total of 52 movies since 1987, alongside producing 8 movies since 2004.

You should not be surprised if one day you discover a large as life-size cardboard cutout of Brad, at a traffic trouble spot near you. Or maybe the local authorities might opt to try cardboard cutouts of Marilyn Monroe and her high flying hemline, Bridget Bardot’s curves, or should that be the ever underdressed Cher, as the majority of drivers are male? Speed may no longer be the problem. Traffic could snarl up for miles, as everyone slows down to make the most of the free showtime. We know this firsthand! Just try driving past the football grounds when a game is on in the tropical island of Vanuatu!
