Portsmouth, RI (PressExposure) April 20, 2011 -- Bayview Casting & Design has just gone on line with an brand new website that is all about custom metal casting and quality design services-and is dedicated to bringing fresh ideas to the home décor market.
BCD's new site features a variety of original products and includes lots of helpful information for everyone who is looking to design a new product, or who just needs a few pieces cast up to complete a repair job or fulfill a special project.
One of several products featured by BCD is the Old Rose Hardware line of door trim kits and cabinet hardware. Developed by American hardware expert H. Weber Wilson, Old Rose Hardware trim kits provide an easy and authentic way to install antique doorknobs on doors that have been drilled out for modern hardware.
"None of the antique door plates or rosettes will cover the big hole in your door," explains Wilson, who has published several books about architectural history, including Antique Hardware Price Guide. "Old Rose door trim uses authentic antique designs, so once installed, doorknobs looks like they began life right in your house."
"ORH cabinet hardware is equally authentic," Wilson continues, "and you can order all our products in four mellow antique finishes."
The Bayview Casting & Design site also includes a product section called BCD Animal Kingdom. Currently featured are a collection dogs and cats cast in high relief on cabinet knobs and doorknobs. BCD has a virtual menagerie of other animal in the production pipeline, and will shortly offer pretty much a Noah's Ark of your favorite critters and furry friends.
BCD offers design and custom casting services for everyone who has a creative product idea for a major market, or who just needs a small order of special parts. Custom metal casting is quite affordable, and as all BCD products are entirely American Made, projects can be completed in a very timely manner.
Besides great products and service, visitors to CastingAndDesign.com will also find lots of useful and interesting information. The Bayview Blog posts up comments and articles relevant to metal casting, helpful information on product development, and stories on the history of American design. Plus, there is an illustrated Glossary of many of the terms used in the blog postings, and neat photo galleries as well.
