Serving Three-year Term on Triangle Chapter's Finance Committee
Brooks Malone, partner at Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (www.hpg.com), the largest CPA firm headquartered and staffed in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, has been appointed to the Triangle Chapter of the North Carolina World Trade Association's board of directors. Malone will serve on the organization's finance committee for a three-year term.
"With more than 20 years in accounting, as well as extensive international and nonprofit experience, Brooks will be a tremendous asset to our organization," says Teresa Spangler, president of the North Carolina World Trade Association Triangle Chapter. "We are excited to have him on board."
The NCWTA serves individuals involved in international trade and promotes commerce between North Carolina and global organizations. It hosts a variety of educational and newsworthy programs on cutting-edge international trade issues and provides networking opportunities. Events include programs on NAFTA, foreign trade zones, customs, international economic forecasts, and doing business overseas.
