Latest Digital Mammography Machine Offers Early Cancer Detection

Recently installed low radiation machine at Provo's Riverwoods Imaging Center offers ease in getting annual mammograms. Center wants to make it more convenient and safe for women to do the annual exam in an effort to catch breast cancer early. Utah ranks second to last nationally in the ratio of women getting the exam.

Celebrating Survivorship:Local Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Support Group Offers Life-Changing Opportunity for Patients and Survivors

The LLS Maryland Chapter is proud to partner with St. Agnes Hospital in sponsoring a blood cancer support group to be held on the evening of June 21, 2010 at the Catonsville Presbyterian Church on 1400 Frederick Road, Catonsville, Maryland. This month's topic is "Celebrating Survivorship" and the group will hear from a couple of survivors and will also share their own stories of survivorship.
