Massachusetts Hearing Society Partners With the Starkey Hearing Foundation to Provide Help and Support to Victims of the Boston Marathon Tragedy.

The Board of the Massachusetts Hearing Society announced last week that over fifty members throughout the Commonwealth have agreed to provide complimentary services to victims of the Boston Marathon who have suffered hearing loss and or tinnitus as a result of the terrorist attack. The services would include testing and if needed , the fitting of the latest high technology hearing aids which the Starkey Hearing Foundation has kindly offered to provide.

9 Year Old Runs for Children at Runner's World Festival

9 year old Nikolas Toocheck will run a 10k on October 20th at the Runner's World Half and Festival in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The weekend's festivities, the first ever like this by Runner's World, will include a 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, seminars led by elite athletes, running movies, and events with the Runner's World editors. Nikolas will be running in preparation for his upcoming marathons as part of his campaign for "Running the World for Children".

Shred North to Hold Charity Shred Day in Barrie, Ontario
