Petra Eiko: an observer of life, movement and energy. Eiko's first body of work of this series shows the force, power and feeling of life that rises within us. Installations, objects and paintings tell stories and of mirroring make connections within the collective mind. Eiko has a special way of mirroring our surroundings using Plexiglas as media. Her organic forms: sometimes monochromatic, serve as the perfect vehicle to visually present the physical and the emotional, the outside and inside. With each circle and movement she is engaging the viewer to the conditions of time, emphasizing the "return to the universal energy". Her very unique imprint of fluidity with a rhythmic movement take the viewer on a long, deep and profound journey with unexpected connections to the universe and the reality that surrounds us. Eiko takes us on a journey, where this isolated island of images, surrounded usually by a black area, create very unique, self reflected images, demanding a certain attitude from the viewer. Deep Transparencies, is an exhibition where you will find a hidden universe...magical and self-reflective. Layering of meanings and significances where the viewer will describe the final scene.
Artist and author, Petra Eiko was born and educated in Germany. Since 2005, Eiko's focus is on reverse paintings, sculptural three-dimensional painted pieces and installations. Petra is the author of an inspirational, philosophical book series "Seeds of Truth". She has been widely exhibited internation
