Boca Raton, FL (PressExposure) March 09, 2009 -- The series will partner with organizations and companies to foster the enhancement and expansion of amateur and pro golf through the development of member and information services, the promotion of opportunities for all who want to play and the protection of the game's integrity and valued traditions.
These organizations and companies are created to uphold and promote the game of golf and its values. Golf Associations have produced a long list of services oriented toward the golfer, the golf course and the game itself. For example, the Northern California Golf Association was formed more than 100 years ago. Their mission statement is: âTo support and promote the game of golf in Northern California and to enhance the knowledge, enjoyment and participation of NCGA members.â
All of these organizations share a love for golf and a willingness to give of themselves to serve the best interests of the game and of the programs they serve. Many serve their golfing community without pay, assist in many ways: fund-raising, caddie matters, tournaments, scholarships, legal matters and administrative affairs; these and other aspects of the industry will be a main focus of the series.
Golf Associations are the backbone of the golfing community and Business Trends TV is looking to capture the most important stories across the nation. These compelling Golf Association stories will air on public television with host Hugh Downs, and on commercial networks such as the Golf Channel, CNN and CNBC.
