Noida, UP India (PressExposure) November 15, 2011 -- Carrying on with the smooth journey, CAT 2011 is about to get over now. This is the last week for CAT 2011. With 16 days of CAT 2011 getting over now, there are now just four more days to go for this year's CAT exam to conclude.
Till now MBAUniverse.com has shared the report till Day 11. In this article, we will give you the report of CAT 2011 Day 12 to Day 16.
The highest number of CAT takers in these days was on the 15th day, which was Saturday, November 12, 2011 with 12, 677 candidates taking the test. It was followed by Day 16, Sunday, November 13, 2011 with 12, 547 candidates taking the test. The Day 12 and 13 were the next days with the highest number of CAT takers. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 saw 12, 421 candidates take the test and Friday, November 11, 2011 had 12, 395 test takers.
Amongst these five days, the lowest number of test takers was on Day 12, Tuesday, November 8, 2011, which was 11, 983.
In these 16 days, 1,64,761 test takers have completed taking their test. The total number of candidates registered for CAT 2011 is 2.5 lakh. This means, 85, 239 candidates are yet to take the exam. CAT 2011 will not be held tomorrow, Tuesday, November 15, 2011. It will be resumed from the next day, Wednesday, November 16 2011 and will be conducted till Friday, November 18, 2011.
The exam pattern has been stable so far. "The paper pattern and the difficulty level has been the same. There have been no surprises so far," mentioned Vinayak Kudva, Product Head, IMS Learning.
Talking about the common trends in the paper, Gautam Puri, Vice Chairman, Career Launcher said, "It has been observed that there is a mix of questions from all the difficulty levels. Three to five questions in each section are quite difficult and test takers are complaining about questions with wrong answer options. My suggestion to them is to leave the tricky questions and move ahead."
CAT 2011 is being conducted in 68 test centers across 36 cities in India.
