Notes to Editors Tim Graveney has had a lengthy career in the instalment credit business since joining the leasing subsidiary of a small merchant bank Group in 1979. He continued to work through the ranks, assisting in the sale of this business to a subsidiary of a fully quoted public company, Brengreen Holdings plc. In 1986, he was the main architect and founder of Hermes Leasing (now Hermes Group) and successfully built this business into one of the largest independent finance houses in the UK prior to its sale to Singer & Friedlander in November 2001. He continues to act as an independent broker for a number of institutions within the finance industry.
