Sofia, Bulgaria (PressExposure) August 16, 2009 -- Bulgarian foreign tourist numbers are down by 7.6% for the months to June 2009. And revenue from the visitors fell by a similar amount.
This, according to State Agency for Tourism head Anelia Kroushkova, who told a news conference on July 20th, that the number of visitors to Bulgaria from EU member states had fallen by 5.2%.
It suggests a downward trend that is fairly certain to continue next year. If so, that would mean there will be a battle for market share.
As a result Discover-Bulgaria & In Your Pocket (Bulgaria) have hired Steve MacAulay, one of the most innovative market strategists currently plying his trade, to present his latest research to those involved in the Bulgarian Tourism Market.
The research will show that all recent communications trends and developments indicate that offline success in business, corresponds with online presence. They are like strands of DNA. So much so, that the most recent report will be titled Offline & Online: A New DNA
It will show exactly how to establish a resort, a hotel, restaurant right down to the smallest cafe how to become major players in their particular niche of the market. Through a structured approach that leverages a powerful blog, a web based tv & radio channel, the power of the autoresponder as an alternative to traditional crm and how to align it all into one market share grabbing approach. Coupled with an extensive Off-Page Search Engine Optimisation, this plan will see you placed directly onto the screen of those interested in your field.
Steve MacAulay, one of those involved in the programme's conception, is looking for 3 such establishments to take on as case studies. Each selected will receive full set-up, launch and expansion of the system. Applicants should contact Steve MacAulay before 31st August. The programme will begin in mid-September.
