Pineville, Louisiana (PressExposure) July 05, 2010 -- With 20 years military service, Christian author Deanetta Thompson has seen her share of war, but all of it wasn’t on the battlefield. She shares these relationship war stories in her eBook Marital Warfare to help women prepare for marriage and salvage their spousal commitment after the battle has hit home.

“I got my ideas from being in the military because I saw a lot there,” Thompson said of the challenges many of her colleagues had. “Women go through a lot in marriage, not just physical abuse, but these things we don’t often talk about, especially in a Sunday morning sermon.” Thompson wants these tough issues—like wives experiencing lesbianism and wanting to commit suicide and homicide—open for discussion and resolution, so she tackles them in her eBook of short, fact-based stories.

Moving with the intensity of a reality TV drama, these stories give a raw snapshot of the “who,” “what,” “when” and “why” of the problem and end by providing the Bible scripture “so what” to solve the issue. “Once you cross the threshold, you need to hit the threshing floor,” Thompson said, stressing above all the need for prayer once married. “There are so many tricks [the devil] has that we are not prepared for; you need to be prayed up.”
