Verona, Italia (PressExposure) April 10, 2012 -- Classical Music World, the International exhibition of Classical Music is coming to Verona from April 19th to the 22nd with its first edition: Unique and Unconventional. It is in fact with a unique eye that organizers intend to present this event, as a whole but different way of showcasing classical music today.
Classical Music World is born with the goal of shortening the distance that often exists between masses and this genre, of working as a meeting point for its lovers and as an introductory platform for those who, for one reason or another, have not yet discovered this fascinating world. Special emphasis goes into enticing the youngest ones into this genre, as shown by the Fondazione Arena di Verona who will present to children visiting the fair the operas that will star in the lyrical summer season of 2012 and by Accademia Teatro della Scala who organizes together with Disney "Learning while playing".
The exhibition is also a reference date for operators and professionals of the industry. Several stalls in the fairground will in fact belong to musical instruments stores, recording labels, specialized magazines and audio equipment among others.
Concerts and shows are going to take place at several stages and places of the exhibition organized by Veronafiere. Among them, the violin and piano duet by Matteo Bovo and Maddalena Giacopuzzi on Thursday 19th, the show by the Symphonic Orchestra and the Symphonic Choir of Milano Giuseppe Verdi on Saturday 21st and even a concert-brunch, which will take place in the Sala Vivaldi on Friday, April 20th. In addition, several artists will present their new records and films: the Italian premiere of the film "The piano is the World" by Angelo Bozzolini and the presentation-press conference of "Germanico" the new record by Ensemble Il Rossignolo are some of the examples of the new releases that will be announced during the four days of the fair.
Of special interest is the educational aspect of Classical Music World, in which several conservatories and music schools participate and who has also organized master classes guided by singers and musicians, like those by Katia Ricciarelli on singing and "Bach is danced on the piano" held by William Grant Naboré. More accessible to the general public are the show lessons "Clinics", interactive sessions in which musicians will guide visitors in the discovery of what is hidden behind the notes, rythms and lyrics of classical works like operas.
There is also place for the therapeutic side of music: in the first day of the fair, the medical institution SOL Diesis IRCCS Santa Maria Nascente Fondazione Don Gnocchi organizes the workshop "Medicine and Music", focused on the health benefits and applications of music for people's wellbeing.
Classical Music World is a fair you cannot miss if you are passionate about music in general and about the classical genre in particular: opera, shows, concerts, lessons and workshops, all in one place from April 19th to the 22nd. Visit Verona and let yourself go with the rhythm!
