Hollywood, Florida (PressExposure) June 29, 2009 -- Christopher Nemec, Classical Musician, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Whoâs Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Christopher Nemecâs commitment to excellence in many different aspects of the music industry, from the church and local retirement homes, to grandeur concert houses and venues.
Christopher Nemec, a 1986 graduate from University of Memphis with a degree in Music Education, has been playing and performing music since age 14. He started out performing at wedding receptions, cocktail parties, conventions, and other functions at the local and national level. To date, he has recorded four CDâs of piano favorites, and has traveled the globe performing at many prestigious concert houses.
Nemec has been employed by Lindenwood Christian Church for the past 25 years as Organist-Music Administrator and is also their Conductor and Director of Childrenâs and Youth music. He has continued to play piano and perform many gigs throughout his career at the Church.
In 2007, Christopher Nemec was one of five people selected through a national audition to receive Choristerâs Guild Choir Leadership Certification Program sponsored by Choristerâs Guild and funded by the Lily Foundation and a Worship Renewal Grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Grand Rapids, Michigan. He also has participated in Carnegie Hall Mozart "Requiem" with Maestro James Conlon and has multiple season participation in the Robert Shaw Choral Institute/Carnegie Hall Choral Workshop as well.
Recently, Christopher Nemecâs newly developed pop-style blend has become a favorite of local retirement communities. He performs for luxurious retirement homes, bringing a unique joy to the elderly. His success has inspired him to reach out to larger retirement areas, such as the Gulf Coast and the South Florida region.
On a more personal level, Christopher Nemec has an array of hobbies that he enjoys. Some of those hobbies include travel, home improvements, fine wine and dining, gardening, yoga, fitness, and architecture.
