Leigh, Greater Manchester England (PressExposure) June 27, 2008 -- Corporate Telecommunications, a leading distributor of headsets, handsets, voice and data equipment, has launched a unique new service that enables users to check the compatibility of Plantronics headsets and telephone systems at the click of a mouse.
The service is the first of its kind. It is specially designed to make combining products and accessories less complicated. It allows customers to check which Plantronics products are compatible with which telephone systems, meaning less time and hassle for those who need fast solutions. It means users avoid the risk of buying products only to find out they are not compatible.
The compatibility guide was developed by Plantronics, but access to it was previously restricted. Corporate Telecommunications, in partnership with Plantronics, has now made it freely accessible to all users of its website.
Paul Clark, director and general manager at Plantronics' UK & Ireland said, "Corporate Telecommunications has worked closely with Plantronics to ensure their customers have a valuable ecommerce experience when looking for the right headsets for their organisation. The Plantronics headset compatibility online tool is excellent for Corporate Telecommunications' customers. They are able to look at a Plantronics headset, understand the specification and price of their selection, and now, check to see that it will be compatible with their phone handset."
The guide is a free-to-use online tool which is easily accessed on Corporate Telecommunications' website. Each Plantronics product page has a 'compatibility' tab at the top where the guide can be found. Users simply select a product and then use the drop-down boxes to explore which other products it is compatible with.
Compatibility can be checked against a number of applications including mobile, Voice Over IP, call centre and wireless office. The guide is part of Corporate Telecommunications' commitment to customer satisfaction. It emphasises its position as a leading headset authority, with a full-service approach that offers comprehensive advice, support and information on a vast range of headsets.
Chan Bansal, Corporate Telecommunications' business development manager, said, "we are particularly excited to launch the compatibility guide. It's the first time that this invaluable information has been publicly available. Customers can now benefit from a quick and easy way to check that the new products they're ordering will match the set-up they've already got. It's a mark of our on-going innovation and commitment to ensuring our customers benefit from the highest levels of service."
