They are designed for optical data communication applications such as fast Ethernet communication and SONET/SDH and ATM systems.
The 1x9 MM optical transceiver series are compliant with SONET/SDH recommendations from OC-01 to OC-03.They comply with ITU-T G.957, G.958, IEC 60825-1 and Telcordia (Bellcore) GR-468-CORE specifications. The transceiver modules incorporate FP and driver ICs with temperature compensation and automatic power control circuitry and also an efficient PIN photodiodes and trans-impedance with AGC for wide dynamic range. They operate at the wavelength of 1310nm and over a distance of up to 2km on multi-mode optical fibers. They are also usable with RoHS compliant products.
