Boca Raton, FL (PressExposure) April 09, 2014 -- DCR Workforce, a leading provider of Vendor Management System (VMS) and Managed Services Provider (MSP) solutions, today announced that Smart Track was named a finalist for the 2014 SIIA Software CODiE Awards for Best Cloud Application Service. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier award for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for 29 years. The awards have over 75 categories and are organized by industry focus of Content, Education, and Software.
This year's program features 28 Software categories, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends. Winners will be announced during a special Awards dinner on May 21 in San Francisco during the industry's premier ISV gathering of SaaS, BI, and Cloud providers, Maximize.
Smart Track, DCR's cloud computing workforce supply chain management application, provides operations personnel and corporate executives with a single, unified approach to procure, manage and analyze their non-employee workforce. Smart Track redefines the role of talent management systems, expanding beyond lifecycle support for agency contractors, SOW and task-based projects, independent contractors, alumni and other niche resource pools. It also brings together transactional and market data, providing analytical tools needed for critical interactions and decision-making.
"We are delighted and honored to be recognized by the Software & Information Industry Association," commented Ammu Warrier, President and Co-founder of DCR Workforce. "Over the past nineteen years, we have focused on finding new ways in which technology can help companies derive full value from their use of non-employees. Cloud computing has enabled us to provide a solution that allows companies to effectively incorporate staffing suppliers, temporary workers, outsourced project teams, and their managed services provider into their workforce ecosystem. With Smart Track, our clients can expect innovations in workforce intelligence, risk management, and cost management that will deliver even greater operational effectiveness."
"This year's CODiE Awards represent the best in finalists and showcases the innovation and creativity in today's market. We are happy to recognize them for their products that are breaking ground in the software industry," said Rhianna Collier, VP for the Software Division at SIIA. "I look forward to honoring all the finalists in May at our awards program at Maximize."
