Holyoke, MA (PressExposure) October 25, 2011 -- PorterHouse Media, a production company founded by world-renowned master video remixer DJ Steve Porter, has been commissioned by Duke University to produce two videos for its prestigious men's basketball program, the Duke Blue Devils.
The first video, entitled "Duke Worldwide," debuted at the team's first practice of the season October 15 in front close to 10,000 fans in their famous home arena, Cameron Indoor Stadium (Duke fans are appropriately dubbed "Cameron Crazies"), and highlighted the team's late summer trip to China and Dubai, while also introducing this year's talented roster. They will continue to use the video at home games throughout the season to introduce the team.
The video can be viewed at:
The second video will be unveiled during the 2012 season.
"Duke basketball speaks for itself," said Porter, a huge college sports fan. "So to be able to work with such a historic program was truly an honor for us. There is so much good about Duke basketball, both on and off the court, and our hope is to project the class and quality of this program, not the mention the excitement they create."
Duke basketball, coached by the legendary Mike Krzyzewski (who, with 900 career wins, enters the season just three wins shy of becoming the winningest men's basketball coach in NCAA Division I history), is one of the most storied programs in all of sports. The Blue Devils have won four national titles, have made 15 NCAA Final Four appearances, and have had 11 National Player of the Year honors. And as usual, they enter the 2011-12 season as one of the top-ranked teams.
