Dale Merritt Earns Long-Term Care Certification

Raleigh, North Carolina (PressExposure) October 06, 2009 -- Dale Merritt, president of Raleigh-based Merritt Wealth Strategies (www.merrittwealth.com) has successfully completed accreditation in the field of long-term care. Merritt is now entitled to use the CLTC professional designation from the Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification, Inc.

The accreditation program identifies insurance professionals who are skilled in the creation of long-term care plans that preserve clients’ emotional, physical and financial well-being. Central to the plan is the establishment of funding for the care. CLTCs review all options including Medicare, Medicaid, long-term care insurance and personal finances.

“My ability to serve clients depends on understanding what resources they will need as they age and how they will pay for them,” says Merritt. “Completing the CLTC program provides me with the broad knowledge needed to navigate this complex field.”

In addition to CLTC accreditation, Merritt holds several securities registrations, including Series 6, 7, 63 and 66. He is also a licensed life insurance and long-term insurance provider. Prior to forming Merritt Wealth Strategies in 2009, Merritt served a wealth strategist for Raleigh-based insurance and financial services providers, Banyan Rock & Talent.
