Recognition in Conjunction with Release 9.4
DeskCenter USA Inc., the independent distributor of DeskCenter Solutions AG., recently announced the introduction of new release Version 9.4 of its IT Management and Life cycle Suite.
DeskCenter USA, Inc. today advises that it has included in this version 9.4 a new innovative cloud based software recognition function. DeskCenter DNA, a catalogue of Microsoft recommended software recognition for the license management module, will automatically be updated through the cloud. By doing so it will be assured that our clients always have the latest license and software definitions at hand. The DeskCenter DNA catalogue recognizes software from over 8000 manufacturers with nearly 900.000 variations to the license composition. Even though this represents one of the most comprehensive software recognition databases in the industry, DeskCenter will still maintain its previous position that if a client does not find a software product in the catalogue, we will update it with this missing software free of charge.
In addition we have made some efficiency improvement to our OS deployment function and added 10 new capabilities to the Helpdesk module. As this IT Lifecycle and IT Management tool has been built internally by DeskCenter from the ground up we have always looked to include our customer in the future development and improvement process. This is again clearly visible with the numerous additions incorporated into version 9.4. The official release is scheduled during April 2012.
