While many would assume the increase as a result of low priced and free wireless provider incentives, Aaron Siegel, director of marketing and CEO of TopSavings.Net has more insight on the blossoming situation. "We have been fortunate enough to communicate with many customers over the phone and email during their order processes and it is not only incentives and free phones that are fueling the increase in our sales. With the growing number of jobless rates nationwide and restricted family budgets, many households are replacing their entire phone services with cell phones to save money. This streamlining of household expenses is no doubt a defining factor for our growing success in this niche market," says Siegel.
TopSavings.Net in the past has primarily kept a main focus on it's B2B channels but always kept residential services open for their customers and visitors. "Sales in the residential sector never saw any significant growth other than our high speed Internet offerings. This boom in residential cell phone product sales has us definitely rethinking our online marketing strategies. We are seeing profits for a channel we had basically neglected and ignored. Only a fool would choose to ignore this sector that is bringing in such a high ROI. The customers have spoken and we plan to answer them with improved cell phone shopping experiences online," said Siegel.
When asked what specific marketing strategies and changes might be made, Siegel declined to comment. "All I can say is that the customers have spoken and we plan to answer their needs and meet them online with more options for shopping cell phone plans as well as other residential products. Our name is our core business model as well as our overall goal, save the customer money and be the top resource for saving that money online. We plan to reinforce that core value," Siegel replied.
