Dallas, TX (PressExposure) April 16, 2014 -- Diamond State Depository Services (DSD), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dillon Gage Inc. of Dallas announced today that, effective May 1, 2014, it is changing its trade name to International Depository Services of Delaware. This change is being made to align the U.S. depository with its sister company, International Depository Services of Canada, and better reflect the company's global approach to precious metals storage services.
Both facilities are modern, specialized centers for storing precious metals and certified coins and for delivering fulfillment services to the precious metal industry. The Delaware-based location opened in 2008 and its affiliate outside Toronto began accepting depositors in 2012.
"This name change was spurred by our growing worldwide presence and our focus on global markets," says Terry Hanlon, president of Dallas-based Dillon Gage Metals. As an international wholesaler, Dillon Gage Metals is one of many firms storing bars and coins at both facilities.
The IDS locations are supported by teams of custody professionals with significant depository and banking experience, dedicated to providing prompt, personalized service. "We cater to the full spectrum of precious-metals market participants," says Alisa Moen, president of IDS in Delaware and Canada. "This includes banks, institutional and private investors, and industrial users." In addition to their qualified staffs, both facilities have the equipment, security and insurance coverage to meet today's stringent storage, regulatory and shipping needs."
The Delaware and Ontario depositories are focused on protecting clients' assets and keeping all client information confidential. The facilities provide ultra-secure, modern storage operations and include class III vaults, all-risk insurance protection, a range of custody and fulfillment services, proprietary operating and reporting systems and competitive pricing.
What's more, "this Fall we plan to introduce new technology that will benefit our clients, including an e-commerce user interface which will provide secure access to holdings data and allow clients to initiate transactions online. This technology will further solidify our position as a leader not only in the precious metals storage and fulfillment arena but as a technology company that delivers innovative solutions to its clients' business demands," Moen said.
International Depository Services of Delaware is located in the heart of the East Coast business corridor, she notes.
