Toronto, Canada (PressExposure) November 25, 2009 -- GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com) has released a digital optical electric signal level meter [http://www.gaofiberoptics.com/digital_optical_electric_signal_level_meter_gao_2112ax-p-1718.html] operating over a wide frequency range from 5MHz to 860MHz. This meter supports 1310nm/1550nm dual wavelength and Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) mode. It performs optical power testing, optical picture viewing, DVB signal measurement and has an additional constellation diagram and EVM function. The practical meter is suitable for hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) network applications.
The digital optical electric signal level meter, model 2112AX, has a video input port and an audio input port. It measures digital signal power, power/Hz and QPSK signal power and reverses direction signals. Both the TV picture and the measurement results of analog channel level, V/A, C/N, TILT and spectrum are shown on the high definition screen. Modulations offered include 16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM, 128QAM and 256QAM for selection and constellation diagrams for QAM64 are displayed.
