Minneapolis, MN (PressExposure) May 06, 2013 -- The "Doggone Worst Website" contest, hosted by the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce (SPACC) and Brandography, a full-service digital marketing agency, announced the competition's winner as Oak Meadows after public voting.
The SPACC-sponsored submissions were narrowed down to five finalists who went on to a round of open public voting. Oak Meadows ( http://www.Oak-Meadows.org ) won with the popular vote. A not-for-profit independent and assisted senior living residence, Oak Meadows is dedicated to the well-being of their tenants, their families and their staff.
Oak Meadows will now undergo a full digital design and marketing makeover provided by Brandography, a Minneapolis marketing agency. The $10,000 value grand prize includes services such as a new mobile-optimized site, SEO and content review, a content management system, $200 worth of advertising for new Google PPC accounts, photos, videos, and logo retouching, as well as strategic advice for remarketing and social media.
The SPACC is backing this contest in conjunction with Brandography as part of their mission to improve and support the business climate in the Twin Cities area. In addition to helping Oak Meadows, the SPACC and Brandography will host a blog series (http://www.brandography.com/blog/.) The blog series will feature best practices for web optimization and showcase Oak Meadow's site progress - demonstrating techniques and tools to help online businesses. Blog readers will get sneak peeks to site improvements along with before and after views, while learning how they can avoid common mistakes on their own websites.
