Lincoln, Nebraska (PressExposure) April 19, 2012 -- Dr. Corey Dousharm of Mosier/Timperley Chiropractic would like to invite all women who are trying to conceive, pregnant, or already moms to "Healthy Women Who Whine".
Dr. Corey's goal is to create and maintain an informal group that focuses on providing a judgment-free environment for women to come and relax, ask questions or get advice, and learn more about how to create a healthy world for their family. And as in the title of the event, Whining is acceptable (within reason)! The group meets monthly, usually on a Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM held at the MTChiro office located at 4645 Normal Blvd, Ste. 200.
After talking to patients and friends in the above category it was clear that there was a need for a group that worked to provide basic information on health and a friendly shoulder for support before, during and after pregnancy in the Lincoln community. The mission for the group is to provide these things as well as allow them an open, judgment free floor to ask any questions, share birth/pregnancy stories or just "whine" (within reason)!
If you fall into the above categories, please come join us for a night that will be full of fun and laughs! The event will be held the first Tuesday of each month.
Dr. Corey Dousharm , a Lincoln NE Chiropractor, is a Nebraska native. After graduating from North Platte High School, she received her B.S. in Biology from Univ. of NE @ Kearney. She then decided to continue her education, receiving her D.C. from Parker College of Chiropractic, located in Dallas, TX.
While chiropractic has been in her family for over 25 years, it was a long journey to discover the true power it possesses for herself. Now knowing that the body can ultimately heal itself once free of subluxations (misalignment of vertebrae), she enjoys sharing Chiropractic care with everyone she meets, as a Lincoln Nebraska Chiropractor, from infants to adults! Subluxations of the spine cause interference to the flow of information to and from the nervous system.
