Hanover, Massachusetts (PressExposure) July 13, 2011 -- More than 1,000 guests flocked to the grand opening of the Sullivan Brothers Used Vehicle Outlet on Route 53, 579 Washington Street, Hanover, MA.
The new location employs 20 people and includes an expansive 4.3 acres and two showrooms. Another 15 employees are expected to be added as the location is fully operational. The Hanover location, next to the Starland, was previously a Volkswagen, Jeep and Chrysler dealership.
In addition to the excitement of a new location and more than 400 used vehicles to choose from, one lucky visitor won a new Kia sedan, five 19" flat screen TVs were given away and $300 in cash was awarded. Heather M. Szymczak of Milton, Massachusetts was the delighted winner of the new Kia.
"Our primary philosophy is that we welcome potential customers as if they are visiting our home," noted John Sullivan, who founded the Sullivan Brothers dealerships with brothers Quin and Brian in Kingston in 1986. He added, "Our success is a team effort. We have many long-term employees, and happy employees lead to happy customers. Even if someone does not buy a car, we want them to walk away as an enthusiastic fan and to talk about the positive, no pressure experience they had with us."
Sullivan Brothers also own an auto mall in Kingston which includes Toyota, Nissan and Lincoln dealerships.
More than 50 vehicles were sold over the grand opening weekend and ranged from a $2,000 Toyota Camry to a $40,000 Lincoln sedan. These vehicles demonstrate the range of used vehicles available in the Sullivan Brothers used vehicle system. The two nearby locations - within 15 miles of each other - make it convenient to deliver vehicles to for test drives and customer review.
"Customer preferences have changed somewhat. Since the gas price hike in early spring, we've seen customers trending towards hybrids and other fuel efficient cars versus Sports Utility Vehicles. We strive to have a wide selection to choose from," note Sullivan.
Sullivan continued, "What makes our dealership a bit unique is that we offer free GPS and a free two year/25,000 mile regularly scheduled maintenance plan which includes services such as oil changes and tire rotation. Our rigorous 127 point inspection ensures that used vehicles are reliable, dependable and a good value. If, for some odd reason something is mechanically wrong, we'll fix it for free while the customer enjoys the convenience of a loaner vehicle."
With a strong and long-term dealership track record, Sullivan Brothers have access to financing for most customers.
