Evesham, United Kingdom (PressExposure) February 06, 2012 -- Mark Canfield commented enthusiastically about the new recruit: "We couldn't be more thrilled to have Ed appointed in this position within the commercial department, after just 2 weeks of being here, he's happily settled into the role and is building relationships with the rest of the department. Upon reading Edward's CV, his background experience showed he was motivated to work whilst he continued to learn at University which is something we look for in applicants; drive and enthusiasm.
The interview went well, his CV conveyed his personality extremely well and he was very passionate about the job as he talked to me and others from the commercial department; straight away we could tell he was the right choice for us. Appointing Ed will further help keep our prices even more competitive amongst our range of sites; this will help progress the business, as well as benefit our customers with great prices".
There's no time for Ed to rest as he's had to start price comparison checks straight away on a large range of products to ensure Plumbworld prices are optimum so that they can continue to provide their customers with competitively priced, quality products from their range of e-commerce sites.
Edward already seems keen in his roll and was quite happy to comment on his experience so far: "The interview process was nerve-wracking but at the same time comfortable and exciting; I got a feel for the environment of the business through the people that interviewed me and it made me even more determined to get the job. So far it's been quite as I imagined, friendly, but fast-paced which suits me as I enjoy a challenge and working to the best of my ability". Ed continued on to say "The close-knit structure of Plumbworld is something that other organisations can only hope for, everyone is in sync with everyone else and there is nobody who isn't helpful or willing to lend a hand - I hope I can get accustomed to this!"
So far, Ed seems to have proved himself in his role as Business Analyst by already making the prices of a large range of items even more competitive. From the looks of it, Ed will continue to thrive in this role and become more efficient over time, which would prove that the decision to hire him was a good one!
